The Feelings Collection: Learning to Listen to Your Feelings
Think about feelings like weather. Some days feel sunny and calm. Other days may feel cloudy, rainy, or stormy. Sometimes the weather changes many times in one day.
Feelings can be like that too.
We may feel happy in the morning, worried in the afternoon, and peaceful at night. We can even feel two things at the same time—like grateful and tired, or hopeful and afraid.
The Opera Mind Feelings Collection was created to help you slow down, notice what you are feeling, and better understand yourself.
The collection includes:
The Feelings Tree — Find words to name your feelings.
Feelings Guide — Explore comfortable and uncomfortable feelings.
Colors of My Heart — Use colors to show what is in your heart.
Where Do I Feel It? — Notice where feelings show up in your body.
The Feelings Compass — Think about what your feelings may be telling you and what could help.Feelings & Needs Puzzle — Discover how feelings can connect to needs like rest, safety, comfort, and connection.
What Helps My Heart Bloom? — Explore the people, activities, and experiences that help you feel well.
Just as we cannot stop the rain, we do not have to make every uncomfortable feeling disappear. We can learn to notice it, name it, and decide how to care for ourselves while it is here.
Your feelings are not the whole story of who you are. They are signals that can help you understand what you may need.
Notice it. Name it. Understand it. Choose what helps.
